When throwing in the trash, the lid will create a relevant, funny sound. Through the combination of a sexy design, relevant quotes and a funny sound, users are motivated to throw away trash. In this way, they contribute to a cleaner world. From our research we found that, compared to other festival bins, the trash in bins with our lids is separated much better. Therefore, the Trash Hole is a nice example of how making recycling fun can have a big impact.
