isla is a non-profit organization founded by event professionals and industry leaders with a focus on creating a sustainable future for events. The organization aims to support the events sector in transitioning to more sustainable practices. isla was established in response to the pressing need to address the challenges of the climate crisis and to prioritize sustainability within the events industry. With a founding member group of 12 agency members, isla officially launched in September 2020. The organization provides support, guidance, and resources for companies and professionals looking to contribute to a more sustainable events industry.
