Launched in January of 2024, the Singapore MICE Sustainability Certification equips and certifies businesses to adopt sustainable practices in events and raises sustainability standards across Singapore’s Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.
Developed by SACEOS, with support from Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and in consultation with members and industry players, the Singapore MSC is a well-recognised initiative with a new framework that aims to reinforce Singapore’s position as a leading sustainable MICE destination.
Applicable across the MICE industry which includes event organisers, stand builders, venues (including hotels with MICE venues), food and beverage caterers, transport operators, freight forwarders, and event technology and audio visual providers, the Singapore MSC framework covers the management approach to Carbon, Waste, Energy, Water management, Social, Human resource competency and Procurement.
