The Green Deal Circular Festivals (GDCF) is a partnership between the Dutch government and European festivals aiming to transition to fully circular and climate-neutral events. The GDCF aims to achieve circular and climate-neutral festivals by 2025 through smart resource management and net-zero carbon emissions. Participating festivals are creating their own roadmaps and using the GDCF Monitor to measure their progress. The GDCF also supports festivals in sharing best practices and lessons learned and encourages collaboration and innovation to scale up successful solutions.
